Red Hub's BBQ Sundae Featured on Cooking Channel's "Cheap Eats"
I received this thank you message from a customer who hired us to cater a retirement party. I'm sharing it with her permission...
Hello Ryan! Just a quick note of thanks to your Staff for the excellent service provided to us during the planning and implementation of our VSP retirement dinner this past Saturday evening. The food was delicious, and I appreciated knowing that Red Hub had that portion of my planning pinned down while I could focus on the other aspects of the event.
Lisa and Sahar were extremely helpful during the menu planning and “paperwork” phase of the occasion, while both Jack and J.R. did an excellent job with set-up, service, tear-down and clean-up. Their friendliness and professionalism allowed everything to run so smoothly; and I especially appreciated them taking the time to cut/serve the cakes I’d provided separately from the catered menu.
I have to tell you … I haven’t had potato salad that good since before the death of my mother 7.5 years ago … the recipe being nearly identical to hers. And, Joel was a delighted guest-of-honor with his “absolutely HAD to have” pulled-pork BBQ!
A special thank-you to you and your Staff for a job-well done. We will definitely recommend Red Hub Food Company for future events.
Best regards … Liz Brill

The "Virginia is for Lovers" State Travel Guide ranked Red Hub in its blog on 20 places to eat off of Interstate 64.
Here's an excerpt: "Try for yourself their homemade chicken and dumplings, hush puppies with dipping sauce, or a sandwich with beef brisket or pulled chicken. No matter what you have, it’s a perfect mix of memory and taste that is a perfect stop on your trip."
